Giving at CV Baptist is defined as “grace-giving from willing hearts”—never pressured. Though God could never need our money, He graciously invites us to invest in His purposes in reaching unbelieving hearts. We give because He has first given us His own Son. He provides for our needs and invites us to steward His gifts well. As we are generous through the local church, we are investing in the kingdom of Jesus Christ and His work in transforming the hearts of people!

We have a giving platform that allows you to schedule your giving each month through automatic payments. You can literally schedule your next gift in two minutes. Go ahead, give your brain a break. It deserves it.

1. How does CVBC record my giving?
We use a church management and finance tool called Nucleus. To view, update, and monitor all of your account information, as well as view your giving activity and obtain year-end contribution statements, you can log in here.
Yes, all payment processing is handled on PCI Level 1 Compliant servers. Your information is held securely and will remain private (never given away to third parties other than to process your scheduled contributions).
3. How do I schedule and manage my giving?
You can schedule, modify, or cancel contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be canceled. If you have any problems or questions related to this, please contact the church office at 888-982-8931.
4. Is there a difference between giving via credit card versus e-check?
The main difference between giving with a credit card versus an e-check is that the e-check transaction fees are substantially lower than credit card transaction fees.
5. Can I make a one-time gift?
Yes, you can do so online or by contacting the church office at 888-982-8931.
What is Tithing?
A tithe—which just means “tenth”—is defined as the first 10% of a person’s income before taxes or anything else comes out. The Bible says we can take the promises of God to the bank. When we bring our first and best back to God, He promises to bless the rest. We can’t outgive God. We know tithing is a huge step of obedience, but you’re not in this alone!
